Grrrrrrrr

I have been trying to blog for 2 hours.

I have a bunch of pictures to share, to illustrate our day,

and blogger says I have run out of storage space.

Huh?

So, I tried a bunch of different things,
and none of them worked.

So, I clicked on "yes" to purchase more space.

Except....

I don't have a credit card.

Don't like them.

So, no more pictures for me.

Unless one of you smart people out there can tell me what to do.

Please tell me what to do...

my head is about to explode.

And that would be messy.

  1. Blogger actually has you using a Picasa album, and yes, you have limited storage. Use another photo storage site to host your pics and link them up from there. Photobucket, flickr... something like that. If you're not downsizing your pics before you upload, you'll want to start doing that. Full size pics take up WAY more storage space than you need. I never upload anything larger than 600 pixels wide or 500 pixels tall. You can email me at oldnicholsfarm@yahoo.com if you want some help. Good luck! :)

  2. Listen to Jess. She's smart. I have the same problem - my computer has no disk space and I can't even save an excel file. I blame your sister for uploading or downloading too many pictures and storing them on my computer instead of on the server. I don't know how to move them, so I wait for your dad to DO SOMETHING.

wv: swatrat - I want to swat the little rat that used up all my memory. :D

  3. You have to open a new picture folder for your blog in Picasa.

The same thing happened to me, I opened a new album, and now have no problems. I still sometimes use flickr, but recently I've been using Window Live to blog (LOVE it now that it's changed!!) and so I haven't been using flickr as much.

I think to fix the problem you switch to the old blogger editor, post a post, and that resets your image album. Then you have another 1,000 pics before you have to reset it again. :)
