I'm in a Funk

I don't know whether it's the weather
(grey everything, sick of the cold...)
or because we're fighting a bit of a flu,
or because there is some emotional chaos in my life right now.

Could be a combination.

Probably is a combination.
'

But I really don't want to do anything.

And I'm TIRED all the time.

And I really would like to stay under my blankets in my bed all day long.

Would LOVE that.

However.

I can't.

Things to do, kids to keep alive.....

It's just one of those times, ya know?

There is an ebb and tide to life,
and this too shall pass.

Soon, I hope.

I know this.

Have to just ride out the storm,

and trust that God is directing my steps.

Ecc. 3:1-8

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

  2. Amen. It's so hard to feel in this funk and as though it won't end, but in our heart, we know that it will. Women and emotions, being a mom and all that jazz....Oh, Lord, bless our weary souls ♥

  4. It happens to me too. And then I take 10,000 units of vitamin D - and feel better (sometimes)

Sunshine is coming! and so are campfires. And kids, another year old. Oh, now i'm depressing myself...
