1. Huge storm last night. It seemed to be right over my house. So, no blogging, ‘cause my computer was shut off.
2. Went riding yesterday, FINALLY. Feel much better about life.
3. My horse is awesome. I love him.
4. I have been working on a chicken run all week, and have yet to get it finished. I will today, if I have to work till midnight.
5. Part of the reason I haven’t gotten anything done is because every day I’ve run my daughter to a dance workshop, and it’s right in the middle of the day!!
6. My kids are eating the first tomato out of our garden on their rice cakes today. It is divine.
7. My three year old has been running around naked all morning,
except for her bright yellow crocs.
She always wears those.
8. My house has been invaded by flies.
9. I like my hens.
10. I am SO happy that soccer is almost over for the kids.
Having a month where I don’t have to run them anywhere will be awesome.
11. We had a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit last night.
12. I won. Beat them like a dirty rug.
13. Lest you think that’s unfair,
it was “Family” Trivial Pursuit, so they had kids questions,
I had adult questions.
14. I like winning.
15. Now I really should go dress my daughter.

ReplyDeleteI didn't blog because of the storm, either. And it was right over MY house, too! Lightning struck our yard. Seriously. It was SO LOUD!
Also, eating tomatoes out of the garden is awesome. I need a garden.
I should check my garden. I bet we have beans. Maybe even a tomato.
