Vintage Monday

I am sorry that it's all pictures from the Quebec/Maine Trip.

It shouldn't be Vintage Monday,
so much as Quebec/Maine Trip.

I'm not rockin' it out with the old pictures,
like she is.

But this is only because at this point in time,
these are all the old pictures I have.

Until somebody,
who shall remain nameless,
(Dad)
comes over here and connects my computer to the home server.

Because that's where all my old pictures are.

So, until that happens,
Quebec/Maine Trip pictures it is.

We drove all that first day.
It was a looong day.

We had booked a campsite,
I forget exactly where,
but it was still in Ontario,
and I believe beside the St. Lawrence River.

Setting up camp.

The boys slept in the tent.
The tent smelled bad.

Critter, J, T, and Quin.
Running somewhere.
To the park, I believe,
'cause it was almost dark and they wanted to play.

And the littles.
B, Emma, Nate and M.
Ha. Nate was one of the littles.....
And see how teeny and cute M is?
Too bad teeny cute Emma is blocking him.

Teeny Emma.
Check out the chubby legs.
She still had baby legs.

Uncle Lorne and Aunt Wendy met us at our campsite,
and brought us FOOD!!!

We love when people bring food.

It was awesome,
since the Mom's (and Jeff!) were so tired from traveling,
that we could just set up camp and not worry about supper.

Then we lazed around the campfire,
which I love.

I can't do it.

I wasn't going to post any scenery pictures on Vintage Monday,
'cause how can you tell if they're old?

But, I have too.

'Cause I like 'em.

Don't worry,
there's only a few.

I didn't post all of the kajillion and three I actually took.

This was the next morning.
Gorgeous, no?

Do you see the black specks in the water?

Here's a closer look.

And closer.

And closer...

Cool, eh?

We broke camp,
and made our way to Quebec.

And this is the first sign we saw.

Dogs are NOT allowed to poop in Quebec.

Non-Smoker Update
Driven to Quit Challenge

Not too much to report.

It sucks.

But, I feel better than last week.

Still using the patch,
although I bought the stupid cheapo ones and they keep coming off my arm and
TICKIN' ME OFF!!

But I'm surviving.

I do find that I have more energy.
And I'm happier,
or something.

Maybe it's all the oxygen getting to my brain?

Anyway.

I'm still going.

  2. Nothing like oxygen to make a person happier. Love the entire post, especially the person who shall remain nameless (Dad) hint. LOL.
