On Tuesday we took the kids to the KW Children’s Museum to see the “Our Body; The Universe Within” exhibit.
If you know about such things,
it is an exhibit featuring real cadavers,
in an effort to portray the intricacies of the Human Body.
We thought it might be educational. We heard it was educational.
So we went.
There was no pictures allowed, so you won’t see any,
as I ALWAYS obey the rules.
But I can tell you this.
It was at once fascinating and deeply disturbing.
Fascinating to see the real insides of the body, how intricate and designed it was.
I can't see how anyone could believe in evolution after seeing the details of what
actually goes on in your body.
Disturbing to realize that these were once living breathing, loving PEOPLE,
somebody’s daughter or son,
somebody’s someone.
I’d never see it again.
And I can tell you this,
So, I’ll leave you with a photo essay of the rest of the day.
I was originally going to post a witty comment for each picture,
as is my wont,
but, I can barely keep my eyes open anymore….
so I’m going to bed.
Laziness wins out yet again..
Enjoy;)
Thanks Elena!

ReplyDeleteI agree. I'll never look at Asian men the same way, either. I know what they look like on the inside.
AT least you got some fun pictures! :D I've got to look through mine and see what I can find.
Great pictures! Haha.. Asian men....
