Today I realized….

1.) I’m gonna need a bigger garden.
I planted all the early stuff:
carrots, parsnips, radishes, onions, peas, beets and spinach.
And I used 3/4 of my garden.
I still need to plant tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, zucchini, cucumber, cantaloupe, watermelon, green and yellow beans, romaine lettuce, head lettuce and leaf lettuce, potatoes, basil, parsley, thyme, sage and rosemary.

I think I’m gonna need about 1/2 an acre.

2.) With child training, follow-up is key.
See, I was really good training my first two kids…the boys.
I would ask them to do something, and always would follow-up ten minutes later and make sure it was done, and properly.
Now when I ask them to do something, it get’s done properly and in a timely fashion.  Most of the time.
If I ask Emma to do something, it might get done, but I have to keep after her.  And she takes forever and fools around.
So I’ve cracked down on her.

Momma is following through!!!!

She is improving.  I will keep at it, and not be tempted to just ask the boys to do it, ‘cause it’s easier.
She needs to be trained as well.




3.) I need a freezer.
I have a butchered pig coming next week, and no where to put it.
I am planting a huge garden (see item #1) in order to can and FREEZE a lot of vegetables, and have nowhere to keep them.
If you, or any one you know, has an extra freezer just lying around,
will you let me know?

4.) I am addicted to Photoscape.
Like THE best photo editing software.
Not that I had any other photo editing software.
But this is cool.
I’ll show you some old crappy pictures I took and edited.
